Eating and drinking in MRT rises

More commuters are caught munching or sipping drinks at MRT stations at least five times a day. Most commuters give excuses like they are rushing somewhere and that is their lunch or dinner. The fine is usually $30, even for repeated offender. A student was caught eating burger in the train by a patrol officer. When he was told to stop eating, the student just asked the officer to fine him and he does not care about it.

Well, i think the officer should impose a fine to him and report his behaviour to the school even if it is only a mearge S$30. You may think it is not effective but i believe the student will wake up when he is subjected to peer pressure and his behaviour is make known such as public shaming.
