Thai monk shot dead, another wounded

Polic believed attacks could be in revenge for earlier attack on mosque. A 60 year old monk was shot dead and his younger companion wounded while they were out on their morning alms collection yesterday in south thailand. The older monk was shot serveral times and died instantly, while the other one, 24 was critically wounded by 2 gunmen on a motorcycle. Attacks on buddist monks are rare.

Is this the retaliation for the attack at the mosque?
The situation in the southern Thailand is always choatic.
There is difference in the believe of religion and they are unable to co-exist with each other. We must thank the Singapore Government for being able to control and maintain the status quo of each religion and live peacefully with each other. Nobody is to overstep into other's religion. In this way, all live happily without conflict. I think the Thai Government must learn from their Singapore Counterpart.
