Woodlands flat broken into

A flat in woodlands street was broken into on Thursday afternoon between 12.30pm and 2.10pm. When she returned to her flat at Block 429, she found all three bedrooms ransacked.
Three mobile phones, a small chain with pendant valued at $90 and three Singapore passports belonging to her and her two sons were missing. The victim then discovered that the window grills and the sliding window along the common corridor were forced open.

The morale of the story is not to live in the flat with common corridor. Typical HDB flats are nowadays built without access by common windows adjacent with corridors.
This will definitely help to prevent intruders in case you forget to lock the windows.
