Teachers or nannies.

Pre-school teachers were treated like nannies. They were least respected for their job. They do not only teach toddlers, being a nanny to those toddlers are also their job. They would not mine if they were more respected, but parents do not even thank them for their job. Some parents did not even care if their children came to school soiled, as they know that the pre-school teachers would help them clean it. Their pay is not veri high and they nid to do so many things. Feeding the children with porriage, showering them etc. etc.

Half of the pre-school teachers request for higher pay and most of them say that they would quit this job soon.

Dogs trained to sniff bombs.

Dogs are now being trained to sniff out explosives or dead bodies. A few years ago, a dog sniffed out an infant after the police had been tip off. Most of the dogs species are shepherds from German. Dogs are well trained to help polices to track down criminals, even terrorism. Dogs are placed at checkpoints to sniff out explosives. Dogs have been police best partners. They were rewarded after every discovery. They adopt 1 year old dogs for training, to replace other dogs that cant be as fast as the new ones.

Some police even got up early in the morning to give their dogs some brushing.

Santa killing spree

Criminal acted as a Santa and killed all his relatives, leaving 16 orphans. He planned everything carefully, he had bought an air ticket and planned to leave the country after he had killed his relatives. He had explosives in his santa costume and he did not noe that the explosives melted the santa costume and give him a burning death.

I think that he might have some mental problems that cause him to do such things. It serves him right.

insufficient compensation

Compensation for the tainted milk products are insufficient. Those infants that had been ill were compensated wif 2000 yuan($432). While those that are seriously ill were compensated up to 30000 yuan. Lawyers complained that this amout of compensation were too little.

I feel that this compensation is not going to be enuff as some infants might have died while drinking the formula. How are they going to pay those parents? They cant possibly compensate them a baby. $432 is not even enuff for the childrens hospital fees.

1 dead 10 hospitalised.

1 worker was found dead after skipping meals. The other workers complained that in sufficient food is given to them. They would fail to receive food in 1 out of the 7 days. They had been infected with chickenpox and those that had been hospitalised have rashes all over the body.

MOM said that employers is responsible for his employees welfare. The workers even complained that salaries are sometimes given late. Employers can be charged according to MOM rules.

Nonoi killed.

She was killed by her father, by dumping her into a pail of water. Nonoi did not suffer server injuries. His father got irritated by her crying and started abusing her. She continued to cry and her father threw her into the pail. At the third time, the crying stop. She was dead. Her father was sentenced to hang.

I think that her father should 'sayang' her, not abuse her. He should be calm and steady.

Civil service jobfair

Young crowds have been queueing for the civil service job fair yesterday. It was held at Vivocity. Youngster now are beginning to join civil services job. A lot of companies have been retrenched a lot of employee recently. They wanted to secure at least a working place when they got retrenched. More then 10,000 jobs were offered at the job fair.

i think holding job fairs is good as those who cant find a job can find a job at the job fair

Singapore did additional check in laboratory which cost $2m dollars and clearance of melamine goods which cost about $1.6m. Destructing it cost another $30k. Every money wasted should blame china for raising the proteins of milks, we should claim those money used in clearing and checking from them, as they cause all this problem.

Cyber bullying

Bullying can take place anywhere, anytime. Cyber bulling had been a great problem. Childrens get bullied online by cyber bullies. they send offensive messages through msn or online messaging softwares. Schools taught the students that they should not cyber bully, or get cyber bullied. If they are cyber bullied, the students should consult the teacher or their parents. Blogging while tlaking bad about people in your blog is also a type of cyber bullying.

I do not cyber bully people nor get cyber bullied by other people. A friend of mine cyber bullied a teacher and was punished.

Food product company Julie is preparing to get back its popularity by gaining back peoples confident for their products. They conducted checks for metals and toxic on their biscuits, and make sure that the biscuits are in good standard. They are very sensitive about their hygiene standards. The workers are forced to wear caps and mask to maintain thier hygiene standards.

I feel that it is good that they are checking their products and trying to gain peoples confident after the melamine outbreak. Their most popular products like butter crackers and peanut butter biscuits were banned and theylost a few million dollars.

without lower jaws

A teen was born without lower jaws and his unable to talk or even chew on food. He needs to insert a tube into his throat and use a typing machine to express wad he was trying to say. He spent almost all his teenage life in hospital. He went for a surgery and the surgeon took a bone from his hips and carved it in a jaw shape. The surgery lasted at least a few days. Now at least he look like a normal person with a lower jaw. He is still unable to talk or chew even after the surgery.

It is really pitiful for him as people might be looking at him and thinking that his a human, without jaw.

$670m was donated to charity

A taiwanese tech billionare donated at least $670m to charity. His wife and brother died of cancer, so he pledge to donate billions of dollars to the charity to advance cancer treatment. He decided built a cancer hospital for cancer patients. It was rather generous for him to donate almost all of his property to charity. his ranked third richest among taiwan. He donated the most money to charity in singled person.

I hope he did give me 1 over 100 of his money and i would not be poor.

virtual couple married in real life

Second life, a virtual game world, which u can do the same thing u did on earth. Getting married, building a house, having a cat and lots more. Its something like a game called Sims. The couple started their relationship online and married. That guy, from rome, started liking her. They both wanted to advance thier relationship and that roman guy flew to singapore to meet his virtual wife. they took turns to fly and they end up married in singapore. Their plan in the future is to fly over to rome and develope a family there.

Its a rare thing for virtual to come true in real life.

muscular atrophy

actor chew chor meng was diagnosed with musscular atrophy, a rare disease. only 1 out of 40000 could get this disease. It was passed down through genes and his mother kept blaming herself for passing on bad genes to him. He wanted to wait for next year before telling out about his disease, but he could not hide his secrets anymore. He cant even walk a short distance to the canteen to buy food and people thought he was a anti-social person. He does not only have problems in walking, he also have problem in climbing small steps of stairs. He said that he would wait till his daughter grow up before letting the muscular atrophy to kill him.

Sleeping pills became an addict

A lady suffered from insomnia and started poping pills to get into sleep. It soon became addictive and whenever she suffered from insomnia she would pop a pill and sleep. once, she wake up the next day and found candles lighted up on the floor. I think that the sleeping pills can cause u to sleepwalk thats why she wud lit candles while she was sleeping.

i was told that u could count sheeps to sleep rather then popping sleeping pills as it might become an addiction. Someone told me that if you cant get to sleep by counting sheep then you should count money...

Toxic found in Irish porks product

Ireland sent a warning letter about the toxic found in irish pork product. Those recently slaughtered pigs contain toxic and was banned from eating and importing. They warned us about those harmful pork products to prevent people from suffering from food poisoning.

i wonder why would those pigs get toxicatted, or how did they get toxicatted? Did they eat poisonous food? Its good that Ireland sent that warning letter to prevent taking of innocent lifes.

Being attack by cyber gangs

Cyber gangs, also know as hackers are wellknown in the gaming industry. recently, on august 2008, Maplestory, a game by nexon, was being attack by a group of cyber gang from china. They hacked into the server, and started taking away the virtual belongings to sell in the real world by letting buyers bid. Its iillegal and they were soon caught. Many people were quite unhappy about this and many started leaving that game. Those virtual belongings are unable to retrieve.

A duo, adult and child, installed a keylogger program into their cyber cafe computers. They keylogged into at least 4 accounts, taking most of the virtual belongings away.

Boy killed by polices

Boy killed by polices cause riots in Greece, Athens. The 2 suspected police where suspended from their job and they had been investigating this case. Riots continue to struck Greece second largest city. Its only a boy. What crimes can a boy do? At most is mischieves. There is no need for the polices to kill that boy.

i find this case very ridiculous. The polices are just immature and stupid. These 2 police should just be killed in punishment. Those riots that had been happening should just blame that 2 immature policemen.

16 killed in shootout

Cops and robbers shootout killed 16 people in total. The officer said that when the robbers knew that they were surrounded, the robbers fired at a flamable tank at a nearby warehouse. 4 M16 rifles, 2 grenade launchers and some pistols were found after the shootout. This shootout happened in Manila, a father and son found in their car near the shoot out and three other civilians was killed.

i think that those victims are innocent and they should not be killed in this shootout, those dieing should be those robbers. They are the one that should die in this shootout, as they are villians, evil villians.

Killed in road accident

Man died when reversing car hit the couple, victim was pinned underneath the car. That couple likes to sit on the metal bench everyday, chit-chating. His fiancee was pushed away from the bench while he was pinned underneath the car, dead after a few minutes even though the ambulance had reached. The driver sad that the car was out of controll and it reversed into them. The driver was shocked when he came out of his car, panicking. Witnesses said that his fiancee was injured but conscious while her fiance was pinned under and sreaming in pain.

Everybody might think that sitting at the metal bench by the park might be save and secure but this accident proved that it can be fatal. The park is normally quiet and no one would expect something like that to happen.
